The National Hall of Leadership
The National office, as a part of the BSA’S Centennial celebration has established The National Hall of Leadership. This is an opportunity for Anyone to recognize outstanding leadership by a Scout, registered Scout leader, or Scouting volunteer who has made a significant difference in the life of another by the extraordinary service they have given and the Scouting virtues they have modeled.

The District Award of Merit
Do you know of an adult Scouter whom you may want to honor that renders service of 'noteworthy' nature to youth in Scouting, outside of Scouting or both at the district or community level?  The nature and value of “noteworthy service to youth” may consist of a single plan or decisions that contributed vitally to the lives of large numbers of youth or it may have been given to a small group over an extended period of time. If you know of any individual that may fit this description please consider nominating him or her for the District Award of Merit.  Award recipients will be honored at the Pacifica District Annual Dinner. Unit Recognition

2009 Unit Excellence Award
Application Deadline January 9th 2010
The Pacifica District Unit Excellence Award is recognition that Packs, Troops and Crews can earn. The District awards gold, silver or bronze Unit Excellence Award ribbons based on a unit's scouting activities and participation in District Events. We present the ribbons at our Annual Dinner.

Centennial Quality Unit Award
In January 2007 units may begin earning the new Centennial Quality Award named for the upcoming 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
